Privacy Policy
Your learning data stays for learning.
Last updated: May 27, 2026. Fragments Flashcards uses your data to save decks, review progress, reminders, feedback, and account access. It is not used for ads or tracking.
Data we collect
If you use Fragments as a guest, the app stores your decks, cards, review progress, settings, and reminder preference for the guest account used by the app.
If you create or sign in to an account, Fragments may store:
- Email address
- Optional display name
- Deck names, cards, translations, and example sentences
- Review history, ratings, streaks, daily goal progress, and selected deck
- App preferences such as daily goal, reminder time, pronunciation setting, appearance setting, translation language, and device locale
- Account identifiers needed for sign-in and sync
If you send feedback in the app, Fragments may collect the feedback type, message, optional name, page context, and time sent so the request can be understood and answered.
How we use data
- Save and sync decks
- Schedule review cards
- Show progress and streaks
- Let you sign in across devices
- Send optional local daily reminders
- Respond to feedback or support requests
Fragments does not use this data for advertising or tracking.
Notifications
Fragments may ask permission to send local daily learning reminders. These reminders are optional and can be turned off in the app or in iPhone Settings.
Third-party services
Fragments uses Supabase for account, database, and sync features. Sign-in may use Apple, Google, or email depending on what you choose.
Feedback submitted in the app may be delivered through FormSubmit.
Data sharing
Fragments does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with service providers needed to run the app, such as Supabase for accounts and sync, and FormSubmit for feedback delivery. Fragments does not share data with ad networks or data brokers.
Account and guest data deletion
You can delete a signed-in account from Profile, then Delete account. You can delete guest data from Profile, then Delete guest data.
Deleting an account removes the account and associated app data from the backend. On the device, Fragments may create a new guest session so the app can continue to open normally.
